3 Golden Rules For Getting Your Ex Boyfriends Attention Again

By Kurt Foulks

Question:

My boyfriend and I broke up but I really miss him and want him back. Is there anything I can say to him to get his attention and get him back?

Answer:

Getting your ex boyfriend back is all about one thing: making him want you back. Regardless of what happened in the past and how you ended your relationship, nothing's going to change until your ex boyfriend misses you. When he starts to reflect on your relationship and the happy times you had together will he be open to the idea of getting back together again. And as an ex girlfriend who wants him back, it's your job to get him to that point.

The Most Common Mistakes Women Make:

A common mistake that women make when they're trying to get back together with an ex boyfriend is that they engage in activities that only make themselves feel good without thinking how it affects their ex boyfriend. This can include things like: regularly calling him or constantly sending him texts or emails. Also, if you've ever written your ex boyfriend a love letter or bought him a card, you've inadvertantly fallen into the trap of focusing on yourself instead of him. Try doing this instead. Put yourself in your ex's shoes instead of focusing your efforts on things that only make you happy. It's important to give your boyfriend some time and space to himself in the aftermath of the breakup. In the end, fighting the breakup by trying to keep the lines of communication open with him will only make things worse for you and make him like you less.

Getting Your Boyfriend Interested In You Again

Contrary to what you might think, one of the most powerful ways to get your ex boyfriend interested in you again is to do nothing. This means no phone calls, emails or texts. The less you do now, the less you'll need to do later - and you'll see what I mean by that.

Typically what happens after a breakup is that women fight to try and keep the relationship alive no matter what. However, you're not going to do this. You're going to do the complete opposite and accept the breakup instead of trying to keep it alive.

What happens next is nothing short of amazing. By dropping off the map and not contacting your ex, he actually starts to think about and miss you and so he'll make up an excuse to contact you.

Let me take you into the mind of your ex boyfriend when you do this:

" Whenever I breakup with a girl the last thing I want is to hear from her all the time because I know I can have her back whenever I want.

But when I stop hearing from her I start to wonder what she's been up to and so I'll start to wonder if I made the right choice by breaking up with her.

Just know that he's going to come calling under the guise that he's simply coming to pick something up or just want to see how you're doing and what you've been up to. I guarantee that he'll be curious to know you've been up to and so he's going to call you to see what you've been doing. And when he does, you need to know what to say.

3 Ways to successfully handle your ex boyfriend's phone call or visit after a breakup

1. Show a little excitement...but not too much. When your ex boyfriend contacts you, show a little excitment..but not too much at first. You don't want to give away your position and true intentions of really wanting him back. Showing a little excitment will make you desirealbe in his eyes, and it's natural to want things we can't have. Make yourself something that your ex boyfriend can't have.

2. Let him talk first. Don't jump the gun at this point. Let your boyfriend do the talking first and give him the chance to explain the reason for his phone call or visit. By allowing your ex boyfriend to initiate the conversation you remove the possibility of making mistakes. Also, you lure him into the more awkward position of making conversation. Pretty sneaky eh?

3. Secretly take control of the situation. If, during your conversation your ex suggests a casual get together, don't completely commit to it. Instead say something like: “Yeah, I think that is probably okay. Call me next week though, and we will see.”

Do you realize what you've just done here? By not committing to a date but keeping the door open, you're making him call you and set the date. How cool is that!

Here's what else you've done without knowing it. Your ex fully expected that you'd be very excited to see him since you haven't spoken in so long, but you crushed his expectations by only being a little excited. As a result, you've given him the feeling that you're not too interested in him. And for all he knows, you've moved on from him and are interested in someone else.

Turning His World Upside Down

Do you want to turn your ex boyfriend's world around? Secretly he's worried that you're totally over him. He's got no idea what's going on or what to expect because you've done the opposite of what he thought you'd do. Maybe he even regrets the fact that he didn't leave the door open a crack for reconcilliation?

But guess what, you've just slammed the door in his face. You have put him out of his comfort zone, and made your ex boyfriend face the fact that he can not play games with you at this moment. So now he's left with two choices. Either he makes some moves to get you back, or he loses you forever.

Does Life Seem Impossible without Your Old Girlfriend?

By Clay Andrews

Perhaps it's another long night tossing and turning trying to keep those thoughts of "her" out of your mind. Maybe it's another awful day at work or school where you just can't seem to pay attention to any of that dull stuff because the pain you are feeling just makes you think about "her" more.

Either way, your life just doesn't have that very same zest anymore. In fact , you might even say that things just seem down-right hopeless.

Why is this? Here is a bit of information to help with how to get your ex girlfriend back:

Here's the solution.. You're feeling lost without her because you are defining your happiness on external circumstances. Specifically, your defining your contentment on how she reacts to you.

This way of living is only setting you up for trouble because you are depending on things outside your control to define your happiness. No matter what you do, you can't control your ex girlfriend's emotions. Ultimately , her reaction to you or being in a positive relationship with you is going to be her very own choice.

When you cling to her loving you for your own well-being, one of 3 things will happen: you will not get what you want (she will not reciprocate your love), you will get what you do not want (she'll meet someone new), or she'll want to be with you (however this situation may change in time).

As an alternative if you can begin to be responsible for your own contentment, you'll be able to find a way to make it through any of these situations without spiraling into a depression or "losing your mind" if you break.

How do you do this? To start with, find things that you like doing on your own. These could be a pastime, exercising, or spending time with your friends. Either way, you'll start to see progress in your confidence and self-image when you work on doing things you like doing.

This will start to change your focus from looking outside of you for contentment to looking inside yourself to find joy in your life.

This could seem like a small and irrelevant thing, but this really has the power to change your relationship with yourself and your ex-girlfriend too.

That's right, this can help you get her back. You see, you almost certainly know that girls do not like desperation. Well, when you fill yourself up on self-love and self confidence, you'll definitely be getting rid of that desperation and appearing much more enticing to her.

Q&A: She Doesn't Love Me Anymore - How Should I Solve This?

By Clay Andrews

Q: My girlfriend and I talked and she told me she doesn't love me anymore, but we're still together. What does this mean for the relationship?

A: I won't lie to you with my answer here. This kind of thing is not good. If you're still together then she might still be with you simply because she wants the comfort and are afraid of being single. She's probably with you because she hasn't found a guy to replace you with yet. In order to save the relationship, you need to be firm with her and let her know that you aren't putting up with the situation. End the relationship and let her know what it feels like to live with her decision. There's a good chance that she would want to fix the relationship with you again.

Q: My girlfriend and I broke up a few week ago. She told me she still loves me. I tried getting back with her but she told me she doesn't love me anymore and got angry. What exactly does this mean?

A: She probably told you she loves you just to avoid hurting you too much. But then you probably committed a common mistake like trying hard to contact her. This probably got her angry, making her tell you she doesn't love you anymore just so you would stop bugging her. But truthfully, she probably has a lot of complicated emotions toward you right now. If she's not acting too cold towards you, chances are you can still get her back. Try shifting your focus and think more about yourself for one month. This would make her miss you again as she starts to think that she is losing you. Go as slow as possible and don't act as if you are trying to "win" her back, instead treat her like you normally would another person.

Q: What should I do if she tells me she doesn't love me anymore but I do and want her back with me?

A: I suggest that you start using the No Contact Rule first. Using this trick will let you get your emotions together as well as make her miss you. After not seeing each other for a long time, you'll find yourselves calmer and more rational the next time you see each other and would be much more willing to work things out. Take it slow and don't be too eager in patching the relationship back. Enjoy the dating stage and let yourself re-learn your girlfriend.

Discover How You Can Keep Your Spouse Satisfied!

By Sarah Scott

Females are emotion based creatures and one of men's greatest enigmas in life. Women and men can drive each other mad on occasions but they have a tough time getting by without the other. For who knows what reason, your other half is not happy, there's a few things you can do to help her. Life and daily stress can have an impact on anybody. Maybe the realities of life, work, school, stress, bills, and raising children (and the list keeps growing) is taking an emotional toll on her.

When life gets nerve wracking and upsetting, your wife can feel anything except the type of woman she would like to be--an attractive, radiant and lovely wife. And when your wife begins to feel this way, she may not express it, but she would like to feel attractive, appreciated, loved and valued.

Although it is no one's responsibility but your wife's to feel good about herself, as a husband, you can significantly help her feel a little bit better. The fact that you detected that your wife isn't happy and you want to make her feel better says that you love her a lot.

What your better half needs now is your everlasting support and love. Through your words, let her know how much you care for her, love her and how she is the most significant person in your life. Also remember that actions speak a lot louder than words so be sure to make your actions be as impeccable as your words. I am not going to tell you exactly what you need to do because not all spousal relationships are same and "one size fits everybody" information will not help you.

What you want actually do is be aware of your wife's feelings. You may need to sit with her and ask her what is bothering her and hear her words. Don't try to fix her problems for her. Men are more likely to want to discover a solution to an issue at that moment and where as with women, they just need to be listened to. Your spouse will appreciate that you even realized that something was troubling her and that you allowed her to vent her feelings (women love talking about their feelings).

If you did something to upset her, what she needs from you is to know you're happy to do anything to mend your marriage. If you brush off her feelings or don't follow through on your words, you are not showing her your support and love. Again, be impeccable with your actions and words.

A couple who truly cares for each other's general contentment and happiness are much more likely to beat those "bumps in the road." Being aware of her feelings (and not resisting them) will help you be the kind of man she needs right now... A loving, caring and supportive husband.

3 Ways You're Setting Your Relationship Up To Fail

By Sarah Scott

Your relationship with your spouse should be cultivated everyday. You and your other half have to do everything you can to keep the love between you both alive. Make sure you avoid doing these things below if you need a harmonious, flourishing, gratifying and loving relationship.

1. Overcommitment to Curricular Activities and Stress

Though it's possible (many busy people can still have a flourishing marriage) but extensive and nerve-wrangling activities outside your marriage can deteriorate your relationship with your spouse. Young couples, especially, have a hard time balancing school, kids, creating a business, renovating their house, and work in their relationship. Many marriages fall to pieces when both couples are too busy to spend some time together and cultivate their relationship. This doesn't suggest that you should not do things outside your marriage. Just be sure to find a healthy balance between the activities in your life outside your marriage and time with your spouse.

Are you able to think what life would look like for a husband who spends more time at work than he does with his other half? If he doesn't cultivate the bond he has with his better half on an everyday basis, his other half is more likely to build resentment and loneliness (particularly if he is too tired to talk when he gets home). It's crucial to take time out of your day to deepen your relationship on a satisfying level with your spouse.

2. Are Your Fulfilling Your Spouse's Desires?

Are you a giver or taker? If a relationship consist of 2 takers, their relationship is going to suffer. Selfishness has no place in a marriage. Be conscious of your spouse's wants as well as they should be aware with yours. A marriage where both couples highest desires are met will overcome any adversity that dares to threaten their relationship. On the other hand, 2 givers in a marriage are set to have a successful and flourishing relationship. Most marriages that fail are mostly due to one (if not both) spouse is not meeting their spouse's needs. Think about, do you believe a couple who meets each other's emotional and physical needs have many problems in their relationship?

3. Have You Got Unrealistic Expectations

Many couples go into a marriage with a certain expectation that only sets up their spouse to fail. Ladies are culprits when it comes to this. Many women have high expectations of their partner. The majority of these high expectations are from what they've learned through the media. These women have predetermined romantic ideas of what their marriage should be. Some husbands do this too. Instead they have expectations of a domesticated wife who will do all the cooking, cleaning and household chores in the house. Ensure your expectations are practical. Your not living in a fantasy world where your life is a movie. You are only setting yourself up for major unhappiness if you don't keep your expectations on a practical level.

Find Out why Contacting an Ex-Girlfriend is Not a Good Idea

By Clay Andrews

If you're reading this then chances are you and your girlfriend broke up, for which I am really sorry. You're probably worrying about how to get her back in your life. You might already know that the No Contact Rule is applied in situations like this but you don't really know how it works. If so then read on and find out why contacting an ex girlfriend is not a good idea after a break up.

I know you're finding it harder and harder to sleep at night. You find yourself riddled with thoughts about your ex girlfriend. The fact is that not contacting your ex girlfriend would be better for you even if you really want to.

If you keep on contacting her, there's a good chance that she will run away from you. Her main aim right now is to evaluate her current lifestyle. If you keep on insisting, you might find yourself losing her forever.

I know that you really want to be with her again. But you need to be aware of just how damaging contacting an ex girlfriend is to getting her back. Your goal right now should be attracting them back in your life.

Remember that back then, your girlfriend used to be very in love with you. Chances are down the road, you went through problems and felt negative emotions which eventually killed the relationship.

What you should be focusing on right now is how to improve your own life instead of contacting an ex girlfriend. For example, if you want to lose some pounds then this is the best time to do it.

The chances of you contacting an ex girlfriend will be lesser as you find yourself getting busy. So when you contact your ex again, she'll be able to see how well you improved since the last time.

By not contacting an ex girlfriend, you are letting yourself concentrate on your life. Did you find yourself neglecting your friends and family during your relationship with your girlfriend? This happens often so don't feel too guilty. What you should do is reconnect with the family and friends you ignored. This will let you create new memories as well as improve your relationship with other people.

You'll find yourself healing slowly as time goes on and by not contacting an ex girlfriend. It's only normal that a break up causes depression on a person. Usually, people after a break up find themselves having negative thoughts which only increases the difficulty of them getting their ex back.

When you're not contacting your ex girlfriend, you are letting yourself develop into the person that she fell in love with in the first place.

How to Get the Guy Back When He Wants Someone New

By Clay Andrews

Did your boyfriend ditch you?

I know that this can be a particularly hard thing to deal with.

Certainly, it doesn't make things any simpler when you still love him and he's already dating a new woman.

Now, let me explain you how to get the guy back without getting petty and getting caught up in a cat fight with his new girl.

The first thing you have to know is that you can't do this in effect by seeing his new girlfriend as your enemy.

It doesn't mean that you need to declare war on her though she's surely dating the guy you want to be with. In all possibility, she's most likely just a normal girl who you could probably wind up being friends with under the right situations.

If you truly wanna know how to get the guy back, better focus on what you can control, yourself, rather than attacking this new woman. You actually wanna do your best and stay positive and helpful of their new relationship.

Anything other than this will make you seem immature and superficial. Don't concern yourself about the other woman.

First, she's in a rebound relationship. Your ex-boyfriend still needs to handle his own sentiments from the breakup with you. He jumped into a new relationship right away without processing those emotions, whether you like it or not. It's just a matter of time before those sentiments begin to get worse and he's coerced to take an actual look at them.

Secondly, his new girlfriend is most likely at least a bit insecure about the history that you and him have together. Whenever he sees you or talks with you, her jealousy probably burns at full force.

Keep in mind the secret on how to get the guy back from the other woman is to be beneficial about their new relationship?

If each time he sees you, you're helpful and positive while his new girlfriend is jealous and immature, what do you think will happen?

On top of all that, he still has unsolved issues from the breakup with you, and their new relationship most likely isn't going to last. In fact, because he'll probably be comparing you to his new girlfriend, he may not only break up with her but the sharp contrast between you and her may also get him to wanna take you back right immediately. That's, therefore, how to get the guy back if he's already dating someone else.

The secret is to keep your cool and composed no matter how you may feel on the inside.

This puts you in a better light and makes you become the better option when he compares you to his new girlfriend, which he surely will do.
